Raspberry Number-Drink

Allison is 11. She has common issues like ADHS, learning difficulties and memorization problems. She took part in a neurofeedback study and was officially assigned to special classes.

During session, she first visualized herself in a typical classroom setting. Important questions like what was disturbing her the most and what the main sources of distraction were could be answered. She mentioned boredom, daydreaming and how the talking of other children really annoyed her.

All her negative feelings were transformed into objects, that she then removed and replaced with motivation and lots of self-confidence.

To drown out the annoying sounds of her classmates, we installed beautiful Magic Headphones. She described them as white with black spots. Dalmatian headphones.

To increase her understanding of numbers, we visited her Number World. Everything in the Number World is made from numbers. Number pizza, number drinks, number birds and number trees. She drank thousands of tiny little numbers and said her drink tasted like raspberry. Then she saw a huge pool, full of millions of little numbers, jumping up and down in excitement because she would go swimming with them. The goal here was to restore a positive relationship with numbers.

She left her Number World with a number 10 on her shoulder. This was her little helper that would accompany her to math exams and help her with homework.

Just three weeks after this session, Allison scored a personal best 90% in a math test.
