Simi was an athletic 8-year-old. With him there was black or white, nothing in the middle. And he was rather impatient.

His mother was looking for something to help stop his violent outbursts of rage, which were mostly aimed at his younger brother. Almost daily, Simi was upset, aggressive and loud. He screamed, pushed his brother around and was hard to calm down.

For about half a year she had tried behavioral therapy before her search lead her to visualization.

In the session Simi saw an orange ruler in his head. It had been annoying him since he was two years old. He could not explain any exact details at that age because of normal childhood amnesia, but he did mention that he had received the ruler from another boy. We gave the ruler back to the boy and Simi filled the gap with love.

At the age of six the ruler appeared again. This time the reason was the separation of his parents. His dad had moved out. Simi felt overwhelmed by the situation. He again gave the ruler back. In its place, he built 10 large rainbow cubes. Strength and being nice – these were his wishes.

He then discovered a tattoo on his chest. There was a big “I can’t do it” written on his chest. With a magic eraser, he removed the tattoo. Simi replaced it with an even bigger “I CAN do it.”

When Simi came for a follow-up session a few weeks later, his mother said there had been no more tantrums. While the first two days after the session had been a bit up and down, Simi soon became much more relaxed and calm. His listening improved and he was noticeably friendlier towards his brother.
