Sometimes children seem stand in their own way, with pulled handbrakes. The potential is there, but they just can’t seem to unlock it. Oliver was one of them. He was 7 ½ years old, very intelligent and crazy about soccer.
Unconcentrated, lazy, often tired, and showing little interest for new things – a few of the things his parents described. At school, he did not seem to know limits, disturbed other children, and in rare cases, even hit them.
Oliver had already tried 1 year of ergo therapy, 2 years of speech therapy and some other methods like homeopathy and medical massages.
In the first session, several causes came to the surface. First, we tackled disturbing noises. We installed Ear Filters that suppresses the chatter and help Oliver to distinguish important from unimportant.
Oliver felt strong boredom. For many children boredom is pure stress – this is very common. He described his boredom as a red pyramid in his head. With his imagination, he disassembled the pyramid and replaced it with lots of concentration.
Oliver requested new batteries specifically for German lessons. His brain would get tired, he said, and then spoke directly to his body. It should recharge the batteries completely. As homework, he had to repeat this every night before falling asleep.
In his right hand, the one he sometimes hit other kids with, we found a red square. Oliver disassembled this one also and replaced it with love.
He felt more anger in his right toe. With this foot, he had already kicked other children. He described the feeling as purple and egg-shaped. Oliver visualized himself at soccer practice, where his favorite footballer Ibrahimovic gave him tips to kick the ball harder instead of other children.
Just 14 days after this intense cleanup, Oliver’s excited mom reported progress. Something special, that had seemed so distant, had taken place. She described how his teacher was full of praise. Oliver had become a much more focused, self-aware child. His teacher mentioned remarkably positive improvements of interpersonal skills. Suddenly other children spent time and played with Oliver.
